My Story

I’ve been working out and living a fitness-focused lifestyle for over 30 years, and for the past decade, I’ve been helping others get stronger, move better, and feel more confident in their bodies.

I started out teaching bootcamps outdoors all over the Baton Rouge area, which eventually led to me owning my own gym.

I’m a certified personal trainer, Tabata instructor, certified boxing coach as well as a trained kickboxing instructor.

I’ve competed in bodybuilding competitions, coached clients with Parkinson’s Disease, and led thousands of group fitness classes.

Fitness has always been a huge part of my life — and for a long time, I believed that if you just pushed hard enough, everything would fall into place.

But as I moved into midlife, I started noticing changes in my own body. My energy wasn’t the same. Recovery took longer. I was holding onto weight where I never had trouble before! The things that used to work… weren’t working anymore. And I began to see the same thing happening with the women I was training.

They were showing up, putting in the effort, and still feeling frustrated, stuck, and confused about what their body needed. That’s when I realized something important: Midlife health requires a different approach. It’s no longer about just pushing harder.

It’s about how your body functions as a whole — your metabolism, your recovery, your sleep, your stress, and your daily habits. That realization changed everything for me.

Now, my passion is helping women navigate this phase of life in a way that actually makes sense — without extremes, without burnout, and without feeling like your body is working against you.

My Approach

I believe that feeling strong, energized, and confident in midlife isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing the right things consistently. My approach focuses on four key areas that have the biggest impact on how your body looks, feels, and functions as you age.

Strength First

Building and maintaining muscle is one of the most important things you can do in midlife. Strength training supports your metabolism, improves mobility, protects your joints, and helps you stay independent and active for years to come.

Support Your Metabolism

Instead of extreme dieting, I focus on simple, sustainable habits that help your body function more efficiently. But it doesn’t stop there. Supporting your body internally - through proper nutrition, hydration, and targeted support - can make a significant difference in how your body responds. When your metabolism is supported properly, energy improves, cravings decrease, stubborn belly fat starts to melt and your body starts responding again.

Prioritize Recovery

Sleep, stress, and inflammation all play a major role in how your body feels and performs. If your body isn’t recovering, it can’t function the way it’s supposed to — no matter how hard you’re working.

Keep It Sustainable

This isn’t about quick fixes or all-or-nothing plans. It’s about creating a routine that fits your real life so you can stay consistent and continue seeing results long-term.

With decades of experience — and having gone through these changes myself — I help women simplify the process and focus on what actually works in midlife.
