What happens to muscle as we age?
Starting as early as 30, we naturally begin to lose muscle and it accelerates as we got older.
It’s not dramatic overnight, but overtime it shows up as:
Feeling weaker
Slower metabolism
More bodyfat (especially around the midsection)
Less energy
Longer recovery after workouts
This is exactly why I focus so much on strength and recovery.
As I got older I learned that I didn’t need to push harder. I needed my body to rebuild and recover properly.
The goal isn’t just to workout - it’s to actually get stronger from it.
When your body is supported the right way…
Better recovery after workouts
Increased strength and endurance
More energy throughout the day
Less soreness and fatigue
Support lean muscle as you age
If we’re not building and supporting muscle, eventually we lose it.
When that happens, metabolism slows, energy drops and everything starts to feel harder.
I’ve trained for years, and one thing I know for sure - it takes a lot of work to build muscle…
and I want to keep it.
