Hydration means more than you think
Most women think they’re drinking enough water, but still feel:
Tired
Bloated
Craving sugar
Holding onto weight
Struggling with workouts
That’s because hydration isn’t just about water
Most people think hydration is just about drinking more water…
but without electrolytes, your body can’t actually use that water the way it’s supposed to.
Electrolytes help your body:
Absorb and use fluids properly
Maintain energy levels
Support muscle function
Ever feel like you’re drinking water all day…and just peeing right back out?
That’s usually a sign your body isn’t holding onto it the way it should.
Without electrolytes, your body can’t properly absorb and retain fluids.
So instead of actually hydrating you, the water passes right through you.
And it’s not just about water.
When you sweat - whether from workouts, heat, or just daily life - you’re losing electrolytes too.
You’re also losing them throughout the day when you go the bathroom.
So if you’re only replacing fluids with plain water…you’re not replacing what your body actually lost.
Your body doesn’t just need water - it needs balance.
Unfortunately I learned this the hard way. I’ve dealt with kidney stones a few times as a young adult - and if you’ve ever had one, you know that kind of pain is something you never forget.
Back then, I didn’t realize how much hydration and overall balance in the body really mattered.
When your body isn’t hydrated or recovered properly, it doesn’t just affect energy, it affects how your body processes and eliminates waste.
Over time, that can show up in bigger ways…including things like kidney stones.
Now I look at hydration completely different.
Not just for energy or workouts, but for how the body functions as a whole.
When you body is properly hydrated:
Energy feels steady instead of crashing
Workouts feel stronger - not like you’re dragging through them
Less bloating and water retention
Fewer cravings (especially sugar & salt)
Faster recovery after workouts
Skin looks fuller, healthier and more vibrant
Most women don’t realize this … until their body starts forcing them to pay attention.
If you feel like you’re doing “everything right” and still feel off…this could be the missing piece.
